Last week, I figured out the shape of my toy. But the character -- the cloud -- wasn't developed at all yet. Nor did I have a way of keep it in its place without holding it with my hand.
First, I went to my drawing app to sketch out possible cloud characters:
Without further ideas, I decided to laser cut them just to see how they would look in real life:
They look not bad. I think my final toy can be laser-cut as well, but using a more permanent material.
Now I just had to figure out how to hold it up above a potential building.
Using some scrap wood, I built some simple stands. They weren't perfect, but they did the trick.
